SERVE ON THE ALUMNI COUNCIL
The Alumni Council helps operate the chapter house, interacts with Miami and the International, engages alumni, and helps guide the undergrads. Serving three-year terms and attending four in-person/Zoom meetings per year, these dozen-or-so alumni provide vital continuity and perspective.
SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCE VIA THE SPEAKERS BUREAU
Relate your career experiences to help our undergrads translate their classroom learning to the real world. Join our new Speaker’s Bureau! We’ll set you up to meet via Zoom with a small group of Alpha Delt undergrads from relevant majors, to provide advice and answer questions.
HOST AN INTERNSHIP
Experiential learning is the trend in higher education; internship opportunities are highly prized but in short supply. Could your business host a temporary, paid or unpaid position for an undergraduate brother studying a related field? Providing this valuable experience may be easier than you think…
ADVISE THE MISSION AND LEADERSHIP COMMITTEE
This joint alumni-undergraduate committee monitors and helps to develop the quality of leadership in the chapter with ongoing mentorship and skill-building.
BECOME A CLASS AGENT OR ORGANIZE A REUNION

SERVE AS A “ALUMNUS-IN-RESIDENCE”
A rotating cast of alumni will serve as temporary live-in House Directors during the ’23-’24 school year. Live on-site for one or more weeks, act as a sounding board for the officers, attend chapter meetings, provide career advice, and enjoy sharing memories. This unpaid experience includes private lodging in the two-room House Director suite, and participation in the house meal program. The suite includes a private bath, kitchenette and wifi; the living room/bedroom combo can accommodate two, so spouses are welcome – or team up with a fellow alumnus for a mini-reunion!
ATTEND INITIATION, HOMECOMING OR OUR “BED AND BREAKFAST”
Alumni attendance makes initiation more powerful, reminding undergrads that brotherhood is lifelong. Simply show up! Homecoming and Alumni Weekend are also great opportunities to visit; during the latter, you and your guests can room in the chapter house! Watch for announcements on all the above…
