THE DAY THE HOUSE CAUGHT FIRE

That's one scary video!

Not to worry: 22 South Campus is still standing! But it was a close thing. Landscapers had covered some in-ground house accent lights with mulch; the mulch heated, smoldered and caught fire. Quick work by an undergrad with an extinguisher put out the fire; repairmen fixed the singed porch.

Now, here’s the real surprise: This is a story that couldn’t have happened without you.

That’s right. The repairmen. The fire extinguisher. The accent lights. The landscaping. All there because of alumni contributions.
